Who We Are

Open Point Capital LLC is a private real estate investment firm committed to acquiring non-performing 1st lien assets from banks, hedge funds, and private lenders. We are actively buying for our own portfolio in several U.S. markets. Through a systematic process of evaluation and action these assets are re-positioned to provide multiple exit strategy options resulting in favorable returns for our investors.

Our Mission

To achieve above market returns while pursuing a socially sustainable investment strategy which strongly emphasizes giving troubled borrowers the opportunity to remain in their homes and avoid foreclosure whenever possible.

SOURCE

We source discounted and distressed mortgages through our relationships with banks, hedge funds, and private equity groups. These may be purchased as ‘one-offs’ or in bundles.

EVALUATE

Each mortgage is individually evaluated against our rigorous investment criteria to ensure multiple exit strategies which will meet our targeted return requirements.

CASH FLOW

Investments are managed through either loan reinstatement, modifications, deed-in-lieu or short sale. If a workout solution is not feasible, we move to secure the collateral through foreclosure.
